    Joining the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) means being part of the team focused on securing the Nation's physical and cyber infrastructure against threats to public health and safety, economy, and national security.     In this position, you will serve as Supervisory Accountant. In this position, you will:

    -Review and interpret new legislation, regulations, directives and guidelines affecting financial processes;

    -Review and approve journal vouchers soundness of approach and adherence to policy;

    -Identify and resolve a variety of financial-related issues, questions, and problems related to the agency's financial management program;

    -Serve as the primary point of contact in an effort to gather, analyze, and compile financial data to provide financial advisory services and to convey financial information in a variety of written forms such as cost and budget reports;

    -Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on design and implementation of financial recording procedures within programs and sub-components to provide for complete and accurate financial reporting within the Department's financial statements.

    -Supervise a team of accountants and other financial managers to carry out CISA's financial reporting responsibilities.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - You may be expected to travel 1 to 5 nights per month for this position.
