    About the Position:
    This position is located in the Energetics and Warheads Directorate, The Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) is the Army's Center of Lethality, and provides more than 90 percent of the Army's lethality to soldiers. CCDC mission includes: improving already fielded items, developing new items, maintaining a strong armament technology base in government, industry and academia and providing technical support to Soldiers in the field.

    • Serves as Project Lead for complex munitions energetic technology projects.
    • Initiates, coordinates and conducts novel research and development efforts of a highly unprecedented nature associated with novel energetic design, component integration and venting technologies.
    • Serves as an expert and technical advisor for broad, complex programs that advance the state-of-the-art, that are critical to a wide variety of uses and purposes.
    • Plans, organizes, and accomplishes advanced planning for munitions research and development efforts in the Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation.
