    Summary

    The Office of Naval Research (ONR) is the Navy's Science & Technology (S&T) organization with a mission to discover, develop, and deliver Naval capabilities through promising scientific research and innovative technology. The Office of Naval Research Global (ONR-Global) is the international arm of ONR. ONR-Global supports the ONR mission by identifying emerging S&T from outside the US, and by facilitating mutually beneficial collaboration and partnerships on S&T.

    Responsibilities

    • You will coordinate and review technology requests from warfighters and make recommendations to the TechSolutions Director for new project development.
    • You will manage the proposal solicitation and evaluation process, provide selection recommendations, and oversee performers from project inception through final demonstration.
    • You will guide requesters of technology through the submission process to ensure proposed concepts are clearly defined and provide technical recommendations, as needed, for all solutions being considered for funding.
    • You will conceive and organize plans for Fleet/Force outreach by interfacing with Sailors and Marines on the deckplates and in the field, at their commands, and at national symposia/exhibitions
    • You will monitor progress and product delivery for ongoing TechSolutions projects by conducting frequent interaction, collaboration, and coordination with the development team from the NRDE network of DoD and academic scientists and engineers.
    • You will coordinate with evaluation team members to include ONR Project Officers or other NRE Subject Matter Experts, ONRG Science Advisors, and Sailor/Marine requester(s).
    • You will direct web portal development processes and sustainment activities to support online, around the clock, worldwide program access to Sailors/Marines, and the NRDE network of scientists and engineers for technology development collaboration.
