    This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Archives 1 Digitization Archival Services Office (RZA). As a Supervisory Archivist, you will be responsible for setting digitization priorities and identifying, planning, and implementing archival digitization projects pertaining to textual records.

    As a Supervisory Archivist, you will:

    • Supervise a group of employees performing work in a teamed environment at the GS-12 level and below.
    • Establish guidelines and performance expectations for staff members, which are clearly communicated through the formal employee performance management system.
    • Organize, develop, and implement multiple projects relating to the digitization of permanently valuable textual records transferred to the legal custody of the Archivist of the United States and the physical custody of the Office of Records Services - Washington, DC.
    • Ensure that employees under supervision are fully trained in the knowledge and skills required for their position, including training in collaborative work processes.
