    Responsibilities

    As a Contracting Officer Representative Advocate, you will:
    • Maintain responsibility and authority for collaboration with CORs/GTRs, program experts, and team members in directing the planning of acquisition actions as assigned.

    • Serve as a primary interface point between CORs/GTRs, program experts, and OCPO during all phases of the acquisition process, with most support occurring in the program requirements definition phase.

    • Participate with the program senior leadership to form, plan, and coordinate long-range objectives, plans, and programs for the business planning process, and integrate these into the overall HUD program acquisition projects.

    • Apply knowledge of Federal acquisition regulations and policy to provide support and expert guidance to CORs/GTRs and program experts in the preparation of acquisition and requisition documents, e.g., conducting and documenting market research, writing Performance Work Statements (PWS’s) and Statements of Work (SOWs), developing Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs), and preparing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
