The Data Analytics Specialist is located in Region 4's Customer and Stakeholder Engagement (CASE) 4QCA, Federal Acquisition Service, serving as a consultant and is responsible for comprehensive data studies and initiatives.

As a Data Analytics Specialist you will support the Office of Governmentwide Policy in the formulation and implementation of policies that streamline operations, improve efficiency and capture Government savings in the main management functions.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $ 91,231.00 per year.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is generating, gathering, and compiling data from a variety of business data systems in order to provide information to management on improving the effectiveness of business/program operations, processes, projects and/or systems. Such experience must include:
• Use of Standard Query Language (SQL) and Visual Basic or Visual Basic Applications (VBA) programming;
• Creating and/or customizing existing databases using a relational database management system (Oracle, Microsoft Access, MySQL, SQL Server, Python);
• Use of business data systems to structure, review, and present information to senior executives for use in the decision making process;
• Use of a variety of qualitative and quantitative techniques;
• Written and oral presentation of highly technical business data reports; and
• Use of data visualization tools (Tableau and MicroStrategy).
