    About the Position: PEO EIS Mission Statement: Rapidly deliver innovative and cost-effective IT systems and services for the Total Force, to globally connect the Army and provide a decisive information advantage to every Soldier.

    This position is being filled under the Expedited Hiring Authority (EHA) for Defense Acquisition Workforce Positions in accordance with 10 USC § 1705(g).

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical oversight of all daily operations for various IT functional support areas that include Operating System support (Windows, Unix, Oracle, etc), storage, backup, monitoring, automation, virtualization (VMWare), or network in support of multiple physical and virtual enclaves across multiple datacenters.
    • Reviews proposals such as new system and support requirements and Service Level Agreements which consist of objectives, scope, and users' expectations to determine impact on and compatibility with the systems architecture and shared resources while also ensuring the plan is in accordance with current Department of Defense (DoD) regulations relating to automated information systems.
    • Serves as a technical expert performing engineering and operational oversight which involves the planning, engineering, and implementing new equipment and services of emerging computer technology to deliver and sustain IT services.
    • Implements regulatory requirements and reports on Cybersecurity issues.
    • Leading teams to provide IT services for assignments that are broad in scope; provide customer service and conflict resolution to resolve problems, or satisfy their customer expectations; and provide expert IT advice or assistance to managers and end users.
    • Assists, advises, and guides employee/contractor workforce, and oversees a subset of the functional teams as a direct report to a Division Chief; ensuring work is properly aligned with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
