    About the Position: These positions are located within the National Capital Region Market as a Term position NTE 18 Months. Multiple positions will be filled in various medical treatment facilities within the NCR Market.
    These positions may be in any department and any shift.

    This is a Direct Hire Solicitation to meet critical hiring needs.
    This position will support the Federal Government's response efforts to COVID-19.

    • Provide direct patient care for COVID-19 patients.
    • Plan and implement patient care plans.
    • Operate and ensure proper function of ventilators, monitors, and other types of medical equipment.
    • Proficient with ventilators, arterial lines, central venous catheters, and vasoactive drugs.
    • Administer intravenous fluids and medications.
    • Respond decisively to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment.
    • Order diagnostic tests as needed.
    • Act as patient advocate in collaboration with fellow members of the critical care team.
    • Provide education and support to the patient and his/her family members.
    • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, particularly those dealing with patient health information (PHI) and patient confidentiality.
    • Evaluate, assess, and administer care to intensive care patients.
