This position is in the Special Counsel and Labor Relations Office. The selectee of this position is responsible for performing the following duties:
- Appearing on behalf of Agency management in contract negotiations, arbitrations, hearings and/or trial proceedings;
- Serving as lead in negotiation impasse proceedings before the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, and the Federal Service Impasses Panel;
- Litigating and drafting motions, briefs, and/or other pleadings before administrative judges, arbitrators and/or appellate court/bodies; and
- Providing day-to-day advice to management regarding labor relations, employment and/or fiscal law issues.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
