    The incumbent is charged with the responsibility of operating, maintaining, modifying, programming, and testing specialized electronic equipment related to intrusion detection and access systems in full compliance with the requirements of National Fire Protection Association 101 (NFPA 101), Homeland Security Presidential 12 (HSPD-12) and Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS).

    As a Lead Electronics Technician (Security), you will:

    • Gather, prepare, supplement, maintain, and applies premise intrusion detection and access and system documentation as required by NFPA 101, HSPD-12 AND FIPS. Verifies compliance of installed systems.
    • Perform premise intrusion detection and access system operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in compliance with NFPA 101, HSPD-12 AND FIPS.
    • Perform advance troubleshooting and repair of installed Access Control Systems, Security Systems, and CCTV.
    • Generate and maintain maintenance system information and assures that required records are complete and accurate.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Travel of 5% is required for this position.
