    Summary

    This position is located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection in the Kansas City Region Office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the consumer affairs program.

    Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement to fill identical vacancies that occur subsequent to this announcement.

    Responsibilities

    -Researches complex and/or sensitive public correspondence regarding consumer protection laws or banking matters.

    -Investigates bank actions related to non-complex public correspondence.

    -Prepares correspondence to address issues and concerns investigated. Ensures letter language is written at the appropriate audience level.

    -Addresses specific regulatory questions or discusses case facts and details with callers who have specific questions in relation to their personal situation.
