    As a Supervisory IT Specialist (Infosec) at the GS-2210-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:

    • Access authentication programs; coordinate the implementation of security programs across platforms; and establish vulnerability reporting criteria).
    • Oversees the implementation of the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) cybersecurity program.
    • Identifies significant actual and potential cybersecurity problems, trends, and weaknesses; recommends specific modifications and solutions to reduce IT security risks; and develops strategies for responding to future IT security challenges.
    • Participates in security site reviews for the DMDC offices to assure the continual effectiveness and adequacy of the DMDC IA policy for safeguarding networks and websites.
    • Expertise in technical writing sufficient to draft and edit specifications, briefings, and reports for senior, general and technical audience.
    • Review configuration changes to organizational assets, systems, applications and data.
    • Act as the primary technical advisor to the Cybersecurity Division Chief, Enterprise Services Directorate Director and AO.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
