    You will serve as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) in the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV - Virginia Beach, VA.

    Responsibilities

    • You will be responsible for providing cybersecurity engineering support to the Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) Engineering Branch in support of Navy Training Baseline (NTB) and NCTE capabilities and systems.
    • You will provide system development to meet war-fighter and Department of Defense (DoD)/Department of the Navy (DON) requirements.
    • You will be responsible for the oversight and implementation of information assurance and information security protections to NTB software and systems.
    • You will perform analysis, identify and implement protection solutions, and develop applicable security related documentation for NTB and LVC Engineering branch developed systems and solutions.
    • You will provide information security guidance and leadership to assist the engineering contractor to fulfill software support requirements of the NCTE.
    • You will Plan for, develop, and execute acceptance testing on internal and external projects to ensure the end product meets DoD and DON information security requirements.
    • You will work within a teaming environment in the Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) Engineering Department engineering and scientific community and interface with sponsors, civilians, contractors, other warfare centers, and customers.
    • You will interface frequently with management to address information security impacts and requirements to NCTE systems and determine mitigation alternatives.
