    You will serve as a Branch Head in the COMBAT SYSTEMS DIVISION; READINESS & TRAINING SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT of NAVSURFWARCENACT DAM NECK VA.

    Responsibilities

    • You will be responsible for the technical execution, cost and schedule of all products and services and ensuring technical rigor and quality of all products and services.
    • You will provide overall administration and technical management of employees in support of combat system computer program quality assurance related to Aegis installations and Fleet support.
    • You will manage technical projects, to include budget and schedule development, risk management, contracting, and development of task planning sheets across various types of funds and customer bases.
    • You will perform monthly project assessments in Project Review Technical Excellence Metrics (PTEM) or other tool; ensure all project artifacts are present or referenced in the project notebook
    • You will plan, coordinate and direct quality assurance of combat system computer programs to include combat system software life cycle engineering, operational sustainment, and approved article packages development and configuration management work..
    • You will ensure all governing cybersecurity, information assurance, configuration management and shipboard installation policies and procedures are followed.
    • You will ensure adequate resources are available to conduct tasking requirements, to include government and contractor personnel, funding, infrastructure, tools, and processes.
    • You will manage existing products and services; engage in business development to seek new opportunities to grow business lines; Collaborate with other branches and divisions as needed to effectively and efficiently meet strategic goals.
    • You will perform full range of supervisory duties to include performance evaluations, conflict resolution, employee development, safety, security, time and attendance, travel and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
    • You will conduct hiring actions (to include student programs) as needed to fill vacancies including recruiting, working with HR for vacancy announcements and conducting interviews.
