    You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND (MSC), COMMAND, CONTROL, COMMUNICATIONS, AND COMPUTER SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT (C4) (N6), CYBERSECURITY DIVISION (N62), CYBER SECURITY RISK MANAGEMENT BRANCH (N622) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.

    Responsibilities

    • You will oversee the Assessment and Authorization (A and A) process and Information System Security Manager (ISSM) duties for MSC?s enterprise networks.
    • You will oversee and evaluate the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure MSC?s type accredited networks and other programs meet the organization?s information assurance (IA) and security requirements.
    • You will provide recommendations based on research and analysis in support of MSC business mission objectives.
    • You will participate in Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) for cyber risk management.
    • You will participate in information security risk assessment during the Security A and A process.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
