    This position is located in the Network and Systems Management Branch, Security System Integration Division, Office of Security Technology, Bureau of Diplomatic Security.  The incumbent is the recognized authority for the  security data network and infrastructure supporting the security data monitoring system.     • Develops, plans, and coordinates the network architecture and system design program using a knowledge of techniques, procedures, and processes such as operating system theory, data structures, computer system architecture and software engineering.
    • Performs vulnerability testing, risk analysis and security assessments and investigates incidents, mounts responses and represents the program during cybersecurity investigations.
    • Manages the integration of the domestic AlarmNet security reporting systems, which provides live security data to the Domestic Operations Security Command Center for monitoring. Responsible for AlarmNet security policy development and execution.
    • Provides oversight on the interoperability of the identity card management system. Coordinates with Information Resource Management for logical access interface which enables cybersecurity monitoring in concert with HSPD-12 compatible access.
    • Manages the overseas Physical Security Information Management System which operates on the Security Management Systems enterprise security reporting network at 371 locations worldwide. Provides technical guidance on the security of systems.
