As a Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC) you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage and Coordinate development of cybersecurity systems information processing standards.
- Develop guidance and procedures for the Authorization and Assessment Program in accordance with DoD regulation.
- Evaluate the impact of proposed standards and procedures on the accomplishments of agency goals and objectives.
- Coordinate A&A Program performance and operational employment with other Branches and Divisions.
- Manage the Certificate of Networthiness/Approved Products List (APL) Program or equivalent.
- Support the Security Manager in the management of information technology (IT) risk management, security and contingency planning programs.
- Develop detailed Cybersecurity Assurance Risk and Compliance (CARC) process flows for various cybersecurity programs.
- Manage physical site inspections and serves as an advisor to management in the design, development and physical security assessment of field offices to meet the needs of the agency.
- Manage methods and procedures for media sanitization in compliance with DoD, NSA and Agency policy on the disposition of media.
- Perform NIPRNET and SIPERNET PKI Registration Authority (RA) duties.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

DCSA, as a newly designated Defense Agency is undergoing a multi-year transformation that includes a significant expansion of predecessor agencies' authorities and responsibilities. Mission accretion and associated growth in personnel and resources requires deliberate coordination and planning across operations and support activities to achieve effective outcomes while simultaneously establishing and integrating new activities, initiatives and projects. The new organization will be comprised of nearly 13,000 government and contractor personnel operation throughout the United States and overseas supporting stakeholders across the federal government.
