- Provide advice and training to contracting officer representatives, program managers, and other contracting personnel to ensure that contract actions effectively implement approved acquisitions strategies.
- Research and recommend appropriate action for resolution of problems or claims through interpretation of contract requirements.
- Interface with supporting contracting offices within the Department of the Navy, other military services, and throughout the Department of Defense and other Federal agencies.
- Initial collaboration with National Defense University and Joint Staff Action Officers (AO) for ensuring the quality and thoroughness of complete and workable contract requirements through timely review.
