ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The Cybersecurity Office (TS) safeguards the NGA mission through collaborative, forward-leaning, and risk-balanced solutions to ensure trust in GEOINT services and data. The Cybersecurity Office (TS) assesses and conveys the level of Agency cybersecurity risk in the context of overall NGA mission goals and objectives. To achieve this, we establish the policies and procedures governing cybersecurity. The office prioritizes cybersecurity initiatives, integrates all cybersecurity solutions and facilitates the review and approval of all NGA cross domain services. TS implements the Risk Management Framework and other applicable national and community-level policies within the Agency, balancing risk to realize maximum performance. The Cybersecurity Integration Division develops and maintains cybersecurity plans, strategy and policy to support and align with organizational cybersecurity initiatives and regulatory compliance. This position is responsible for leading strategic business process actions related to developing and driving the implementation programs within the cyber mission space, ensuring effective cybersecurity governance and engaging across Agency stakeholders on a wide range of cybersecurity matters to achieve overall mission objectives. The Cyber Governance and Strategy Planner applies broad comprehension of IT governance and synthesizes them with cyber security best practices. The position analyzes agency Cybersecurity governance practices, programs, and implementation guidance and establishes or maintains programs for efficient execution of the cyber mission space. This position provides the opportunity to grow and contribute to Agency cyber issues every day. * Develop standards and strategy in compliance with laws, regulations, and policies in support of organizational cyber activities. * Leverage IT Governance best practices and lessons learned of external organizations and academic institutions dealing with cyber issues. * Interpret and apply applicable laws, statutes, and regulatory documents and integrate into cyber governance standards. * Design/integrate a cyber-governance strategy that outlines the vision, mission, and goals that align with the organizations strategic plan. * Monitor the rigorous application of cyber policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of planning and management services. * Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, and processes. * Assist in the development of written reports as part of the CIO-TS governance activities. * Understand technical and business requirements to develop tactical and strategic roadmaps to address and implement Secure SDLC controls.
