    This position is being announced under the Direct Hire Authority (DHA) for Cyber Workforce Positions.

    This position is part of the Defense Media Activity, Defense Media Activity. The incumbent manages and leads the DoD Public Web Program, including the public web infrastructure, the content management systems, web servers, web applications, content delivery network, video on demand (VOD), official command public blogs, and web services for a consolidated program.

    As a SUPERVISORY IT PROGRAM MANAGER (INTERNET) at the GS-2210-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:

    • Leads the analysis and execution of web-based and other information needs of the public as well as other relevant audiences including media outlets.
    • Acts as a principal program leader, and adviser to the Chief IT Officer and DMA Director for the introduction of new DEMS projects supporting and related to public facing and internal IT technologies and information systems.
    • Advises the DMA Director and the DMA Chief IT Officer on the current status of issues and problems, business initiatives, customer/client relations, and financial issues.
    • Develops new policies, procedures, criteria, and instructions for determining and presenting IT business program and project capabilities, technical and cost proposals, and long-range budget estimates to potential project sponsors and partners.
    • Public speaking and representing DoD at conferences, workshops, and related professional settings.
