    About the Position: This position is with Defense Health Agency, Combat Support Operational Medicine, Armed Forces Medical Examiner Forensic Toxicology located in Dover, Delaware.

    • Examine post mortem toxicology results to determine drug usage on deceased patients.
    • Conduct research studies on drug usage for Department of Defense programs.
    • Evaluate variety of scientific theories in regards to forensic investigations (eg: human physiology, pharmacology, biochemistry).
    • Advocate multidisciplinary environment reform regarding drug testing procedures.
    • Communicate evidence of toxicology investigations to higher headquarters.
    • Testify as courtroom expert witness on forensic analysis.
    • Coordinate the execution of competitive or sole source contracting initiatives through Medical Logistics Command.
    • Develop cost benefits matrix's associated with new testing procedures.
    • Evaluate issues in drug testing laboratories to meet industry standards.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel up to 5% for this position.
