    Joining the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) means being part of the team focused on securing the Nation's physical and cyber infrastructure against threats to public health and safety, economy, and national security. Within CISA, the Office of the Director provides leadership to the Agency's efforts to defend civilian networks, secure federal facilities, manage systemic risk to National critical functions, and work with stakeholders to raise the security baseline of the Nation's cyber and physical infrastructure. This particular position is located within CISA's Office of the Chief Financial Officer, specifically within the Budget Division.

    In this position, you will be responsible for budget analysis. Typical work assignments include:

    • Planning, organizing, and completing major budget analysis for significant programs within CISA's operating components and/or mission support organizations;
    • Providing in depth guidance, direction, and analysis advice to CISA senior management on all phases of the federal budget process;
    • Assessing the impact of new and revised congressional legislation on the formulation and execution of assigned CISA component's programs, budgets and performance;
    • Reviewing and approving funding allotments for assigned CISA component;
    • Developing proposed appropriation language in support or new or revised program and budgetary requirements.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You will be required to be away from home in travel status for 1 to 5 nights per month.
