    Summary

    About the Position: This is an Interdisciplinary GS-12 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Southwestern Division (SWD), Fort Worth District, Regional Planning and Environmental Center (RPEC). This position may be filled at any of the following duty locations: Fort Worth, TX; Galveston, TX; Little Rock, AR; or Tulsa, OK. The location chosen is at the discretion of management and will be determined at the time of selection.

    Responsibilities

    • Implementing corporate decisions, guidance, laws regulations, and policy in the development of project scopes of work and performance work statements.
    • Developing contract acquisition strategies and obtaining and maintaining District corporate commitments.
    • Assisting District Program Managers in programming decisions affecting the success of assigned projects.
    • Attending meetings, briefings and conferences with District officials and employees, counterparts from other districts or divisions, and technical specialists from other government entities or private industry.
    • Preparing cost estimates, contract documents and scopes of work/performance work statements for Architect-Engineer (A-E) and Environmental Service contracts.
    • Serving as technical advisor to source selection boards and A-E contract pre-selection or negotiating teams.
    • Controlling and managing project milestones and budgets from the inception of assigned projects through to completion.
    • Serving as the District's primary point of contact to the customer and other external agencies on assigned projects.
