    Summary

    You will serve as a ENGINEER in the Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) Engineering Branch (RS28) of the Range Systems Engineering Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV at the Virginia Beach, VA location.

    Responsibilities

    • You will serve as the Government Lead Systems Engineer and Subject Matter Expert for Electronic Warfare (EW) engineering support to the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE),
    • You will lead project execution, engineering, analysis and technical writing in support of EW capabilities and systems to meet war-fighter requirements,
    • You will provide oversight of all engineering projects for the NCTE that support EW systems,
    • You will produce range system solutions to meet user training requirements based on engineering, fiscal, operational, and information assurance guidelines and resource availability,
    • You will provide guidance and leadership to assist the contractor to fulfill engineering support requirements of EW systems,
    • You will plan, develop, and execute acceptance testing on internal and external projects to ensure the end product meets Fleet user training requirements,
    • You will team with sponsors, civilians, contractors, other warfare centers, and customers in the Range Systems Engineering Department community,
    • You will work with NCTE sites, sponsors and the program office to procure, accept, and integrate new EW systems and capabilities within the NCTE,
    • You will interface frequently with Management to address impact to local range operations and determine mitigation alternatives,
    • You will work assigned projects to meet sponsor and customer requirements as a Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer within the Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) Engineering Branch (RS28).
