    As a Physical Scientist, you will perform the following duties:

    • Provide quality assurance of operational environmental products and services, evaluating system performance and providing corrective or adaptive maintenance required.
    • Oversee major project(s) to improve products, product generation, product streamlining, product dissemination, documentation, program collaborative activities, customer service, and record maintenance, archiving and disposal.
    • Serve as the product or services area lead for an existing portfolio of environmental satellite products, environmental products from new satellite missions, or satellite services.
    • Responsible for presenting effective technical presentations to a diverse audience including senior management officials and coordinating, editing and providing input to the writing comprehensive reports and papers on pertinent technical issues.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Up to 5% of domestic travel may be required for this position.
