This position is located in the Office of Administration, Human Resources Division, Staffing and Employee Services Branch. The incumbent serves as an HR management consultant and advisor to NTSB customers.
Provides comprehensive and strategic recruitment and placement advisory services having varying complex regulatory requirements that require strategic analysis and flexibility in adapting to differing regulations and statutes, organizational structures and internal policies.
Analyze and evaluates current staffing situations including turnover, vacancies, and recruitment strategies to identify and forecast staffing challenges and future demands.
Provides guidance to management on all recruitment and placement issues, methods of recruitment of, staffing alternative and recommend innovative methods and strategies to resolve problems of job turnover or loss of skilled employees.
Provides authoritative position classification services for a wide range of professional, scientific, administrative and highly technical position in occupations where work processes are complex in nature.
Provides position classification management advisory services that typically deal with difficult, complex and often controversial position management issues.
Advises management on the impact of classification or restructuring of positions may have on other positions within the organization. These positions have a wide grade range in emerging or rapidly changes technical fields and leadership positions.
