    Functions as Supervisor for the CT Section in the Imaging Department. Is the designated Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) responsible of workflow issues as related to the CT section in Imaging. The principal responsibilities are to perform cross sectional imaging procedures (CT) for the patients of this medical center, and to maximize patient throughput within the CT Section.

    Major Duties:

    • Oversee staff assignments, maintain a fair and equitable work distribution and call schedule, and continuously strive to improve procedures and patient care within the section
    • Responsible for the performance of the individuals within the CT Section of the Imaging department. He/she recommends promotions, reassignments or other status changes of assigned personnel. Resolves informal complaints of employees.
    • Participates in the management of human resources for the department including selection, promotion, performance appraisal, and award and promotion systems.
    • Coordinate quality improvement activities within the imaging section. Recommends areas for review or improvement. Collects data and submits in final form to the Specialty Imaging Manager.
    • Deals with the union representatives on matters involving action by an immediate supervisor. Implements provisions of personnel management programs where well-established procedures exist such as EEO, career development plans, departmental policy and procedures, award and incentive programs, grievance procedures and safety practices

    Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:pm
