    About the Position: This position is located in the Regional Health Command Pacific (RHCP), Office of the Directorate of Communication, Honolulu, HI.

    RHCP and Tripler Army Medical Center are a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices.
    Salary includes 19.56% locality pay. In addition, currently authorized 10.28% cost-of-living-allowance, which is subject to change without notice.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as the lead protocol specialist for Regional Health Command-Pacific.
    • Provide protocol expertise, guidance and recommendations that adhere to military protocol policies, practices and guidelines.
    • Serve as the primary action officer in the planning, development, and execution of high visible events hosted by RHC-P, to include official receptions and entertainment functions.
    • Serve as the directorate's lead for all Official Representation Fund requests and manager of the region's gift locker.
    • Maintain the region's distinguished visitor's tracker program. Coordinate with the region's direct reporting units to ensure all distinguished visitors and engagements involving the region's leadership are included on the tracker.
