    You will serve as a Supervisory Protocol Officer in the Protocol Office of NAVAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL.

    • You will advise staff on changes to daily and long term program goals and objectives.
    • You will advise staff on military protocol matters (e.g., proper ceremonial forms, honors, courtesies, etiquettes).
    • You will coordinate all aspects of official travel plans to include itineraries, agendas, ground and air transportation requirements, lodging, escort to ensure protocol functions are followed.
    • You will perform Protocol duties for distinguished visitors (DV's) (e.g., military services, congress members, senate members, distinguished civilian and foreign equivalents).
    • You will resolve problems encountered due to lack of understanding of cultures and languages.
    • You will collaborate with protocol offices to coordinate all protocol activities.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
