    This position is located in the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Management/ Chief Information Officer (CIO) Directorate, Office of Enterprise Solutions (OES), Enterprise Strategic Planning and Management Division (ESPMD).

    The following are the duties of this position at the GS-14. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

    • Serve as a Contract Portfolio Manager and provide oversight and program/portfolio management in the planning, coordination, development and implementation of acquisition plans and contract execution.
    • Provide management oversight and technical direction for the full spectrum of scope, cost and impact of the provided goods or services; evaluate and manage service providers with respect to performance, pricing and reporting.
    • Monitor and report on significant agency level IT programs and functions, interpret policies disseminated by Bureau, senior leadership and determine their effect on program requirements.
    • Formulate long and short- range plans for the Bureau's information systems needs, and prepare requirements analyses and cost benefit and other studies to determine feasibility and practicality of new IT concepts and proposals.
    • Serve as technical expert for the organization in translating systems requirements into applications prototypes, determin and design applications architecture and evaluate new applications software technologies.
