Presides as Chair over the Employee Threat Assessment Team (ETAT) and the Disruptive Behavior Committee (DBC).
Oversees coordination and training of Prevention and Management of Disruptive Behavior (PMDB).
Advises clinicians, clinic managers, Safety Offers, and Police on a coordinated approach for addressing patient disruptive behavior; promotes the safe and effective delivery of health care.
Completes violence risk assessments for both employees and Veterans.
Develops risk mitigation recommendations.
Advises the treatment teams and /or the Director about systems issues that may be contributing to disruptive patient behavior.
Responsible for completing the Workplace Behavioral Risk Assessment (WBRA) process and reporting of a national reporting system.
Assists in the ongoing improvement of the Psychology Training Program and actively participates in the Psychology Training Committee meetings.
Trends disruptive behavior data.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
