    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Protocol Advisor and Lead Conference Coordinator for the Protocol Office of U.S. Central Command for conferences and meetings that involve the Commander, Deputy of Commander and Chief of Staff. Plans, develops, and coordinates guidance to project officers and tasks appropriate agencies to provide support for protocol.

    Responsibilities

    • Plans, organizes and directs protocol support team activities during events. Ensuring that work complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
    • Serves as one of the primary expert protocol officers in executing itineraries for distinguished visitors to Central Command Headquarters and directs all aspects of social functions hosted by the Commander, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff.
    • Coordinates activities as the protocol lead for USCENTCOM. Acting as chief point of contact, providing advice and direction on all protocol issues surrounding the exercise and conference.
    • Briefs Commander, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff and other staff agencies on protocol requirements.
    • Works closely with U.S. and host country agency protocol counterparts to plan, prepare for, and execute coordination for high level visits to the exercise and conference site.
