    Responsibilities

      At GSA, our Building Management Specialist participating in the evaluation of policies and/or implementation of programs related to the operation and maintenance of commercial buildings (or equivalent non-housing, high rise buildings) and leased space; analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of building operations, automated systems, and/or equipment; interacting with customers and stakeholders regarding building services in order to assess their needs and recommend solutions; and providing analysis of real property budgetary and/or financial data to management. Supporting the realty functions of GSA's Public Buildings Service organization in this occupational series includes:

    • Participating in the evaluation of policies and/or implementation of programs related to the operation and maintenance of commercial buildings (or equivalent non-housing, high rise buildings) and leased space;
    • Analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of building operations, automated systems, and/or equipment;
    • Interacting with customers and stakeholders regarding building services in order to assess their needs and recommend solutions; and
    • Providing analysis of real property budgetary and/or financial data to management.

    Occasional travel - Occasional travel may be required.
