    Summary

    The incumbent provides comprehensive management of administrative services including all or several of the following functions: budgetary and financial management services; purchasing, procurement, and contract administration; management and program analysis; facilities, property, safety or space management; and/or human resources services. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of complex federal government travel issues, policies and regulations.

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as the travel policy liaison and lead contact on travel related issues and problems.
    • Provides technical guidance and advice on travel policies and procedures concerning all aspects of travel.
    • Analyzes financial and budget information to advise management on the status of funds and evaluate an organizations budget to assess the timing of obligations and expenditures in relation to the budget cycle and availability of funds.
    • Serves as principal adviser to an important agency organization on all administrative management matters associated with programs and operations.
    • Gathers data and analyzes information for serviced organizations.
    • Interprets and recommends administrative procedures and policies.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
