    Summary

    You will serve as a Supply Technician (OA) in the Supply Division of the NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY (NRL).

    Responsibilities

    • You will ensure the information received in the Procurement Information Systems (PIPS) is accurate and up-to-date.
    • You will ensure all telephone and written inquiries concerning vendor payment problems are promptly investigated and documented.
    • You will maintain, document and monitor a logbook, establish file folders on all inquiries received and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
    • You will review vendor invoices, purchase orders, inspection reports, packing slips, and other supply/procurement documents for errors and will implement corrections as needed.
    • You will process invoice payments and refer payment discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
    • You will initiate modifications to purchase orders.
    • You will prepare monthly statistical reports on payment inquiries.
