As the office Administration Professional: Coordinates with Human Resources to obtain guidance as it relates to organizational related functions including pay and leave, and benefits. Reviews travel associated matters and the training program including initial and recurring. Responsible for managing the office logistics program including personal property, supplies and services, and acquisition activities, awards, OSHA, security and vehicle management. Identifies, analyzes and recommends solutions to recurring problems and offers recommendations for improvements. Interprets guidelines and provides management with advice and counsel on the operation of assigned programs and interrelationships of such programs. Most assignments are completed without direct supervision as established in the guidelines. Some discretion is given to select the most appropriate approach. Work is frequently reviewed, typically at major milestones and at completion for policy compliance and alignment with other work activity. Supports the office assisting in monitoring available resources and ensures office administrative processes are functioning efficiently and effectively and in accordance with current guidance, policies, procedures, and regulations. To qualify for this position at the FV-G Level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized equivalent to a FV-F/FG/GS-5/7/9. Specialized experience in applying management principles, methods, and techniques to solve the problems of the organization; experience with the general management of an organization; developing and securing the fiscal and business resources and services needed to manage and run an organization.
To qualify for this position at the FV-H Level, you must demonstrate in your application that you
possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G/FG/GS-10/11. Specialized experience in applying management principles, methods, and techniques to solve the problems of the organization; experience with the general management of an organization; developing and securing the fiscal and business resources and services needed to manage and run an organization. Experience in performing systematic general management reviews and audits to reach conclusions and make recommendations.
