    About the Position: Serves as Cost Engineering responsible for the development of cost products to support project planning and execution within the Sacramento District.

    • Prepare cost products that are well organized, technically and economically sound, accurate, and meet our customers? requirements.
    • Prepare and manage cost products including price quotes; quantity take-offs; construction estimates, schedules, and work plans; parametric estimates; technical analysis of contractor proposals and recommendations for negotiation.
    • Apply Quality Assurance/Quality Controls processes to project designs and estimates, reviewing for accuracy, completeness, and conformance with regulations and guidance to support timely project execution and minimize claims and cost growth.
    • Applies professional knowledge of civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering in relation to design and construction features to prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
