EMERGENCY ASSIGNMENT: Every FEMA employee has regular and recurring emergency management responsibilities, though not every position requires routine deployment to disaster sites. All positions are subject to recall around the clock for emergency management operations, which may require irregular work hours, work at locations other than the official duty station, and may include duties other than those specified in the employee's official position description. Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
In this position you will be responsible for developing and executing policies, budgetary and regulatory frameworks, standard operating procedures (SOP), resource management, and building strategic relationships and business process efficiencies for national level programs for the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (OCAO), Program Analysis & Evaluation Division. Typical duties include:
- Planning, developing, coordinating, implementing, and administrating projects and programs in the functional areas of support services; real property, space, and facilities management; accountable personal property management; mail management personal property management; mail deployment readiness management; privacy protections management; safety, health and information collections management; disclosure management; directives management; related program; and other programs as may be assigned to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) or directed by the CAO.
- Establishing OCAO goals and plans, resources needs allocating, and use; oversight of OCAO support processes; guiding development of organizational policy; coordinating support activities within and outside the organization.
- Producing detail-oriented reports and analysis outcome conveying analytics and the information.
- Ensuring adherence to the organizational, Mission Supports and Agency strategic plans. Maintains financial integrity and transparency so that FEMA can demonstrate high value to stakeholders, customers.
Occasional travel - This position may require non-emergency travel (5%)
