As Budget Analyst, you will:

To qualify for the GS-12 grade level, 1 year of creditable specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 is required. Examples include, but are not limited to: monitoring status of funds or financial transactions for the organization; analyzing and reconciling budget and fiscal documents; developing budget submissions with fire leadership; generating a variety of reports for national and regional offices, communicating detailed budget information in writing and orally; explaining, recommending and/or providing guidance on financial and budget regulatory requirements, policies and procedures; performing analytical, technical and administrative work for the budgetary process for a large organization including responsibility for budget formulation, justification, presentation, enactment and execution.
There is no substitution of education for specialize experience at the GS-12 and above grade levels.
