    • Responsible for overall management, control, development, coordination and execution of assigned planning programs and products.
    • Requires experience in multiple business lines and a full in-depth understanding of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers policies, procedures and regulations.
    • Applies an extensive knowledge of leadership concepts, principles, methods and practices.
    • Consults and coordinates activities with Program and Project Management in accordance with the Project Management Business Process, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
    • Allocates project tasks to team members and monitors performance to assure commitments are being maintained for all projects within the program.
    • Reviews individual project progress, measuring performance and taking necessary corrective actions to maintain agreed upon schedule and cost as well as overall program accomplishments.
    • Conducts public briefings of controversial water resources projects in a highly visible environment.
