    This position is located in the Treasury Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Enterprise Infrastructure Operations Services (EIOS). This position supports the OCIO vision for “Treasury information technology efficiently providing the right information, to the right people, at the right time, securely on any device”. The employee provides support for customers, vendors and contractors contributing to this vision.

    As a Information Technology Specialist (Customer Support), you will:
    The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13.  If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

    - Develops overall IT functional and systems requirements and specifications.

    - Develops cost estimates for new or modified procurements and contracts.

    - Diagnoses and resolves problems in response to customer specifications related to IT hardware and software.

    - Serves as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on IT acquisitions and contracts as appropriate to the position.

    - Evaluates proposals for the acquisition of IT hardware, software and/or services.
