This position is located at one of the various Indian Health Service Hospitals or Clinics under the Navajo Area Office. ResponsibilitiesThis position will support efforts related to the COVID-19 public health emergency.
- Functions as Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and procedure nurse performing professional nursing duties to provide immediate and ongoing Post-Operative assessments and teaching for patients and families
- Selects, prepares, and processes supplies, instruments and special equipment for specific procedures; anticipating possible complications.
- Must demonstrate the ability to administer procedural sedation.
- Meets the needs of the surgeon and anesthesia personnel by assisting with induction and problems during the course of surgery.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
