    Summary

    The incumbent will serve as an Administrative Officer of a Regional Office with the responsibility of planning, coordinating and directing all Regional administrative activities. Duties also include personnel management/administration, budgeting, financial management, procurement and contracting, property management, and/or supplies.

    Responsibilities

    The incumbent will serve as an Administrative Officer for the Office of Audit Services (OAS) and will perform the following duties:

    • Formulates and compiles fiscal budget estimates.
    • Makes recommendations to senior management for changes and adjustments necessary to meet program objectives.
    • Prepares the annual operating budget and monitors and tracks expenditures.
    • Provides travel oversight and assists with preparation of travel orders and vouchers for regional staff.
    • Plans administrative management activities of assigned areas, recommends changes in administrative practices and procedures to improve operations.
    • Initiates and processes procurement actions for supplies and services.
    • Manages all personnel actions and works with senior management in the implementation of specific hiring initiatives.
