The Budget Analyst position is located in the Budget Branch of the Budget and Finance Division. The Division is responsible for all financial aspects of the District of Columbia Courts. The incumbent will assist with the procedural and technical aspects of budgetary formulation, presentation, and execution processes and should be familiar with the principles and objectives of budget management, financial reporting, and accounting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR GRADE 12: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, public administration, or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in government (municipal or federal) budgeting; or a master's degree in public or business administration, or other closely related field plus three (3) years of experience in government (municipal or federal) budgeting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR GRADE 13: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, public administration, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in government (municipal or federal) budgeting; or a master's degree in public or business administration, or other closely related field plus four (4) years of experience in government (municipal or federal) budgeting. Advanced knowledge of and experience applying federal budget processes and OMB policies.
