    About the Position: This position is located in the US Army Corps of Engineers, South Pacific Division area of responsibility. Work will be performed on the Southwest Border. Serves as an expert on NEPA and the assessment of environmental effects created by project construction, operations, and maintenance and compliance with federal natural and cultural resource laws and regulations.

    • Serves as the Army Expert in NEPA Analysis and Environmental Compliance for South Pacific Border District.
    • Serves as the principal subject area expert to execute, design, implement, oversee, troubleshoot, and expedite implementation of a nationwide program for compliance and consistency with laws, regulations, treaties, and Army expectations.
    • Executes special high visibility, sensitive NEPA and environmental programs.
    • As Team Leader, the incumbent monitors and evaluates performance and assures fulfillment of functional responsibilities and compliance with established policy and procedures.
