    • Manage a complex vegetation management program including ecological restoration, threatened and endangered species management, invasive non-native species control, inventory and monitoring, GIS and data management.
    • Supervise vegetation management staff, develop work plans and funding proposals to accomplish large-scale restoration projects, administer project funds, manage contracts and ensure environmental compliance.
    • Facilitate scientific research by identifying research needs, preparing requests for proposals or statements of work and providing oversight for research projects.
    • Serve as park representative on issues concerning plant ecology and cultivates effective working relationships with a broad range of organizations and individuals in order to facilitate cooperative regional management strategies.
    • Make presentations and prepare reports for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
