    This National Guard position is for a Training Administrator, Position Description Number D1775P01 and is part of the 78TH Troop Command.

    This is a full-time, Excepted Indefinite, dual status position which requires Georgia Army National Guard Membership. Position is Indefinite however, may convert to permanent without further competition.

    As a Training Administrator, GS-1712-11, you will:

    Provide readiness training and pre and post-mobilization training (PPMT) to Soldiers.

    Coordinate with all other directorates and external agencies to develop and execute the State's Adjutant General's DLP Distributed Learning Program goals, objectives and policies.

    Facilitate the transition from resident-based individual and collective training systems to greater reliance on distributed learning technologies and methodologies with the goal of providing local access to training events.

    Responsible for the planning, integrating and coordinating the efforts of all agencies and offices participating in or supporting National Guard programs and events.

    Work with state Job Site Training Points of Contact (JSTPOCs) to mitigate problems with Warrior Net broadcasts.

    Keep abreast of changing technology and educational development as it relates to DL, and synthesizes highly specialized aspects of multiple fields, including educational technology, computer automation and telecommunications.

    Coordinate with industry experts, business, educational and community leaders and state agency officials on the role of multi-media Distributed Learning and Distributed Training Technology.

    Plan and coordinate DL training opportunities for the state's National Guard (NG) members Soldiers.

    Develop and Administer a training program to meet the distributed learning instructional and educational support needs of every Soldier in the state, an approximate average of 800 to 1600 participants, and assists internal providers in the development or modification of courses to enhance material retention.

    Administer the payment of vendors training providers.

    Notify supervisors and participants of course dates and costs.???????

    Oversee the training database and produce regular reports tracking individual soldier's progress towards fulfilling training requirements.

    Conduct research and analyse to obtain vendors and internal sources of training, commensurate with training needs.

    Coordinate with the United States Property & Fiscal Officer (USPFO), Grant Office Representative (GOR) or state comptroller to design, implement and monitor various inter-agency agreements for the DL program and ensure proper flow of program income through the DL Cooperative Agreement. Serves as the DL Program Fund Manager and coordinates all DL related budget and funding activities with the United States Property & Fiscal Office (USPFO) while performing all fund manager duties as required by regulation and law, as appropriate.

    Coordinate training activities with other Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations Office (DCSOPS) branches, Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Air Force Institute of Advanced Distributed Learning (AFIADL), NGB, and various agencies to establish priority of course ware development and conversion requirements and priorities, consistent with current needs and future projection of training requirements needs and serves as an official member state representative of the Distributed Learning Advisory Committee (DLAC).
