    Management Analyst / PD# 81589-A

    Reviewing, analyzing, coordinating and compiling data from solicitations, pre-award, and post-award recommendations and findings to generate reports that identify systemic issues and trends. Providing a wide variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of the division's objectives. Recommending methods for improving and simplifying working procedures. Utilizing various resources, and computer software to create flow charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and word documents including statistical data, reports, and slide presentations. Assembling data and interpreting VA policies, processes, and procedures relative to technical reviews. Assisting in the planning and preparation for meetings including the development of agenda items, preparation of supporting materials, distribution of agenda, and notification of attendees. Editing minutes of staff meetings, conference calls, and other meetings assuring accurate and timely transcription and distribution of published copies to appropriate officials. Drafting and completing in finished form, after edits, correspondence for the Chief Procurement Review Division, and for other staff as required. Observing the need for sensitivity and confidentiality of selected material. Maintaining and coordinating schedules of site visits, electronic files, and monthly meetings. Prioritizing meetings/events so that those of highest priority are accommodated. Maintaining standard operating procedure handbook by reviewing annually and providing updates. Receiving acquisition packages, establishing logs, and tracking assignments. Disseminating incoming mail to appropriate individuals, and highlighting correspondence for special attention in reference to due dates, appointments, etc.
