    The National Park Service seeks an engineer to join a fast paced team working with some of the nation's treasured assets- roads, trails, buildings and utilities in Mount Rainier National Park. With over 1.5M visitors a year, this work has a big impact. You will work with the park's architect, landscape architect, project managers, resource specialists and compliance team to complete projects in a demanding landscape, and protect resources to ensure continued public access for future generations.

    • Provide civil engineering expertise to perform or direct design, construction, operations and maintenance of park facilities.
    • Manage construction projects for the repair, rehabilitation and construction of park facilities.
    • Participate in meetings to resolve issues involving high profile planning and design projects.
    • Use project management software to collect, analyze, calculate, and report project data.
    • Serve as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the management of design and construction contracts.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
