    In this position you will serve as the Human Resources Officer for the Servicing Human Resources Office (SHRO) and serves as the SHRO Lead providing technical and administrative supervision to Supervisory Human Resources Specialist and indirect supervision to human resources personnel located in various Pacific West Region Locations.

    • Technically and administratively directs the daily operation of SHRO Staff in the areas of recruitment, staffing, pay administration and compensation, position management, personnel security and workforce planning;
    • Approves implementation of policies, procedures, processes and program plans of the SHRO;
    • Prepares SHRO accomplishments, white papers or recommendations to the Associate Regional Director/Workforce Management and/or Regional Director;
    • Manages and monitors HR delegations and ensures that locally developed HR procedures are consistent with policies, rules and regulations;
    • Mentors and coaches assigned HR personnel;
    • Responsible for ensuring equal opportunity for employees supervised.
    • Coordinates with Headquarters NPS on HR policies and procedures and prepares implementation instructions;
    • Coordinates the development of the SHRO budget

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
